Nathaniel Brown is one of the big winners of the past Bundesliga season. The left-back impressed with strong performances despite a disappointing season at Eintracht Frankfurt – and not only played his way into the German national team’s World Cup squad, but apparently also onto FC Bayern’s wish list
The 22-year-old has now commented on the rumours surrounding the German record champions for the first time. „Of course I read them too, but I want to focus on the World Cup now. I’ll see what happens after that,“ Brown explained in an interview with the Abendzeitung München. At the same time, the defensive player made it clear: „My full focus is on the World Cup now.“
A clear denial certainly sounds different
Despite the speculation, the Amberg native emphasised that he still feels very much at home at Eintracht Frankfurt. His contract with the SGE runs until 2030. „I feel super comfortable, also in the city, I have friends there,“ explained Brown. He has „really arrived“ in Frankfurt and is also „really enjoying“ the current situation
In sporting terms, Brown has developed into one of the absolute top performers for the Hessians in recent months. In 33 Bundesliga games, he scored four goals and made four assists. The full-back also attracted attention with strong performances in the Champions League
Will Brown be Davies‘ successor?
