FC Bayern are rumoured to be interested in a child prodigy from Brazil. His name: Estevao Willian, also known as Messinho. But other top European clubs are also keeping an eye on the 17-year-old.

A great top talent is making a big splash in Brazil, the player’s name is Estevao Willian, also known as Messinho. The 17-year-old winger is under contract with Palmeiras in Sao Paulo.

The Brazilian has scored three goals and provided one assist in 13 appearances in all competitions. And although his statistics do not necessarily suggest it, he is regarded as one of the most talented players in Brazil.

According to GOAL from Brazil, the right winger is in high demand in Europe. Not only Bayern are said to have enquired about the player, but clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are also interested. However, according to the report, no official offer has yet been received.

Messinho’s role model: Lionel Messi!

The fixed transfer fee is 45 million euros – but net. This means that the clubs who want to sign the dribbling 1.76 metre tall attacker will also have to pay the transfer tax. This would increase the total cost to around 55 million euros.

Messinho is regarded as the next Brazilian wonderkid after Endrick (17), who moved to Real Madrid for 45 million euros in the summer.

Like many talents, his role model is Lionel Messi. He wants to follow in his footsteps and dreams of doing so, according to the report.

Estevao Willian was nicknamed Messinho because of his similarity to Lionel Messi’s style of play – with tricky dribbling and high speed. His contract with Palmeiras runs until 2026.
