As FC Bayern prepares for the season finale, those responsible are already planning the summer transfer window. One name in particular could make the hearts of Bayern fans beat faster: Luis Guilherme, the Brazilian wonderkid from Palmeiras.

After intensive monitoring, FC Bayern’s interest in Palmeiras‘ youngster Luis Guilherme appears to be materialising. The 18-year-old winger and attacking midfielder has not only scored his first goal in the Copa Libertadores, but has also attracted the attention of top European clubs such as Liverpool and Arsenal. Despite the strong competition, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirms that Munich are one of the main interested parties alongside the aforementioned Premier League clubs.

The talent, whose contract includes a release clause of 55 million euros, could be an investment in the future for the German record champions. Guilherme proved his abilities with his recent impressive performances in Brazil. He showed that he is ready for the next step in his career.

Bayern have been watching Guilherme for some time

Bayern’s observation of Guilherme is nothing new. The Brazilian U20 international caught the attention of Bayern scouts months ago. His versatility on the pitch, coupled with impressive technique and maturity despite his young age, makes him an attractive target for the summer.

Luis Guilherme epitomises the type of player that every club would like to have in their attack. He is a young player with high development potential who brings a lot of technical finesse to the table. However, Bayern have tended to steer clear of transfers directly from South America in recent years – it remains to be seen whether they will make an exception for the huge talent from Palmeiras.
