Chris Führich has apparently been on FC Bayern’s wish list for longer than expected. According to the latest reports, the Munich club want to get serious in the summer. Stuttgart are apparently expecting the DFB international to leave.

Bayern and sporting director Max Eberl are already planning the new transfer period in the background. According to the report, Munich are primarily looking for hungry players with a mentality that the fans can identify with. According to Sport BILD, Chris Führich from VfB Stuttgart fits FCB’s requirements profile perfectly.

Eberl and Christoph Freund are keen to lure the attacking player to Säbener Straße. Although Führich only extended his contract with the Swabians until 2028 in February, it comes with an exit clause of around 24 million euros.

As reported by tz, those responsible in Stuttgart expect the German international to leave the club at the end of the season. A clear indication of this is the imminent signing of Justin Diehl from 1. FC Köln.

„Can’t comment on this rumour“

The interesting thing is: According to tz information, Bayern have been interested in Führich for some time. According to this, Eberl’s predecessor Hasan Salihamidzic already had the winger on his radar.

VfB sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth commented on the lure from Munich this week as follows: „I’m not surprised that our players with this record are also of interest to top clubs. But in the case of Führich, neither the player nor the club has contacted me, so I can’t comment further on this rumour,“ he told Sky.

One thing is clear: the signing will not be a foregone conclusion. In addition to Bayern, Dortmund, Leverkusen and Leipzig are also keeping an eye on Führich.
