There have already been numerous rumours and speculations about FC Bayern’s new home kit in recent months. Now further leaks have emerged about the Bayern jersey for the 2024/25 season.
While Bayern are playing their home matches in a white and red kit this season, it appears that they will be opting for a red home kit again in the new 2024/25 season.
The Footy Headlines portal published new information this week. Bayern’s new home kit next season is set to feature the classic FCB red as the main colour, combined with a darker red for the thick stripes on the front („Team Power Red“) and a dark maroon („Shadow Maroon“) for the appliqués and logos.

Based on this information, Footy Headlines has created a corresponding jersey design. This is a prediction, but it is „very close“ to the final design, as Footy Headlines explains. However, the final design has not yet been finalised.
New Bayern jersey to be presented in May
Traditionally, Munich’s new home jersey is unveiled at the last Bundesliga home game. In other words: Harry Kane & Co. will wear the new jerseys for the first time at the home match against VfL Wolfsburg (between 10 and 12 May 2023).
But one thing is clear: if Bayern do indeed opt for a red home kit again, many FCB fans will be relieved. The German record champions‘ jerseys have been criticised a lot in recent years.
At the end of last year, FCB fans presented a protest banner against the club’s away shirts at the Champions League match against Galatasaray Istanbul. The banner read: „Paragraph 1: The club colours are inviolable.“
Bayern often wear the away kit or Champions League jersey in black and purple this season. This is a thorn in the side of many fans.
