With his strong performances, DFB international Chris Führich has become the focus of many clubs. FC Bayern are also rumoured to be interested in the winger. As has now become known, the German record champions are even ahead in the race for the attacking player.

Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane are two wingers who could leave FC Bayern in the summer. While Gnabry is considered a candidate for sale, the question of Sane’s future arises. The 28-year-old’s contract expires in just under 15 months.

In the search for a replacement for the attacking winger positions, FCB have apparently found what they are looking for in their league rivals from Stuttgart. According to the report, Chris Führich is on the Munich club’s transfer list. While the pay-TV channel Sky recently reported that the track to Führich is currently not hot, BILD seems to have significantly different information.

The name Führich is being „discussed very intensively“ at FCB

As BILD head of football Christian Falk reports in his podcast Bayern Insider, Führich is not a loose topic at Säbener Straße. On the contrary: Bayern are said to be seriously interested in the 26-year-old. According to BILD reporter Tobi Altschäffl, the name Führich is being „discussed very intensively“ at the Isar. A transfer in the summer would be a real option for the record champions, especially from a financial point of view.

According to reports, Führich has an exit clause in his contract. This allows him to leave the Swabians early in the summer. Should VfB qualify for the Champions League, the clause would be worth just under 23 million euros.

In addition to Bayern, the German international is on the radar of other Bundesliga clubs. Front-runners Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund are also considering a transfer in the summer.
