Harsh accusation against FC Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel! According to a report from Spain, the coach has never spoken to new signing Bryan Zaragoza since he moved to Munich in January.

New winter signing Bryan Zaragoza is struggling at FC Bayern, with the 22-year-old not even making the Munich squad for Saturday’s away game at Darmstadt.

A harsh accusation has now been levelled against Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel from his home country of Spain. Spanish journalist Marcos Benito of El Chiringuito TV reports that Tuchel has never spoken to Zaragoza since he joined the club. The reason is that it was not the coach’s wish to bring in the Spaniard in January.

Interestingly, journalist Benito was also the first to report on Zaragoza’s move to the German record champions. It can be assumed that he is close to the player and those close to him.

Tuchel on Zaragoza: „First and foremost, Bryan lacks the language“

Zaragoza was originally due to move to Munich from Granada FC in the summer. However, Kingsley Coman suffered an injury at the end of the first half of the season and FCB brought forward the signing of Zaragoza to the winter transfer window. As a result, the Spanish international arrived in January, but Zaragoza has only played a few minutes since then. The low point came when he was not named in the squad for Bayern’s 5-2 win in Darmstadt.

Tuchel had previously stated that Zaragoza was still struggling to integrate in Munich. One reason for this is his lack of language skills: „Bryan is primarily lacking in language, that’s a fundamental factor. It’s difficult in English and difficult in German,“ explained the coach.

However, Benito now reports that Zaragoza is learning German and English every day in order to speed up his integration in Germany. The player is training well and has the trust of those in charge. The reason why he is not playing is not just the adaptation and the language barrier.

Tuchel, who according to Benito is not talking to the new signing, is also said to be partly to blame. When asked by BILD, FC Bayern did not want to comment on the issue.
