Tuchel and Nagelsmann shortlisted of top club

Thomas Tuchel

Thomas Tuchel and FC Bayern will go their separate ways in the summer. While the German record champions are looking for a successor, Tuchel could already sign on with a new club for the coming season.

There will be a lot of movement on the coaching market next summer. In addition to FC Bayern, who will part ways with Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season, Liverpool FC and FC Barcelona are also looking for a new head coach. Both Jürgen Klopp and Xavi announced a few weeks ago that they would be leaving their respective clubs at the end of the season.

Ten Hag under pressure

Manchester United could also become active on the coaching market in the summer. Erik ten Hag is facing the threat of a second disappointing season in a row. While the Red Devils finished bottom of their group in the current Champions League season, qualifying for the top flight again has recently become a distant prospect. The gap to fourth place in the Premier League is now eight points.

According to the Spanish portal fichajes.net, doubts are therefore also growing internally about a further collaboration with Ten Hag. Allegedly, the club managers are already looking for possible successors. According to the report, there are three names on the shortlist: Thomas Tuchel, Julian Nagelsmann and Zinedine Zidane.

Tuchel back in the Premier League?

Thomas Tuchel has recently been repeatedly linked with a return to the Premier League. According to reports, the 50-year-old is not looking for a longer break, but wants to take over a new club immediately after his upcoming departure from Bayern. Manchester United is said to be a club that Tuchel is definitely interested in.

According to the report, Julian Nagelsmann is also on the list of the English record champions. The 36-year-old is currently coach of the German national team, but is said to be looking for a new challenge after the European Championship at home. As recently as Thursday, he stated that he might sign a contract with a club before the start of the European Championships if the overall package is right.
