Julian Nagelsmann recently revealed that he wants a „pressing machine“ and seems to have found it in Konrad Laimer at RB Leipzig.

Bayern Munich are said to be already in contact with the player’s entourage and are working on a summer transfer. Although Bayern already have a new midfielder in Ryan Gravenberch, signing Laimer has now become a top priority.

Bild recently revealed on Sunday that the club is currently preparing an offer for Laimer in order to open talks with RB Leipzig. The Austrian’s contract only expires in 2023.

Bayern were already interested in Laimer last year, but there was no transfer at the time. There are big doubts surrounding Corentin Tolisso’s and Marc Roca’s future at Bayern.

Bayern wants Laimer and Gravenberch

Italian transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reports that Bayern are still chasing after Laimer despite the upcoming Gravenberch transfer. Apparently the Austrian is even a „top target“ for the upcoming summer transfer window. This is due in particular to the fact that Julian Nagelsmann is very fond of the player and would like to have him.

According to Romano, the talks with Leipzig will not be easy. Laimer could be the third player after Dayot Upamecano and Sabitzer to leave to title rivals. RB Leipzig are trying to avoid it at all costs.
