There are increasing signs that Bayern Munich have left FC Barcelona behind in the competition for Noussair Mazraoui.
The German record champions are now in pole position in the transfer deal for the right-back. An agreement with the Moroccan is said to be imminent.
Although there is no agreement yet, it could soon be reached as the talks are apparently ‚very advanced‘. According to the reliable transfer insider, Matteo Moretto, Barcelona are ‚losing ground‘ on Noussair Mazraoui despite being the front runners at first.
During the past couple of weeks, Bayern were said to have increased their offer for the Moroccan. Slowly but surely, Bayern might finally win the race for the right-back.
According to Moretto, Mazraoui’s first choice was always Barcelona, but Bayern Munich’s long term project for the player seems to have convinced him. There were also conversations between the player and Julian Nagelsmann.
An important part of this deal is also Mino Raiola, who is the Moroccan’s agent and Ryan Gravenberch’s. The latter is close to joining Bayern and the agent wants to secure a double deal with Bayern.
