Harry Kane’s contract extension with FC Bayern is imminent. It is now also clear how much the striker is set to earn under his new contract.
Contract negotiations between Harry Kane and FC Bayern are apparently on the verge of being finalized. According to Sky, the English striker is set to extend his contract—which runs through 2027—by two additional years, through 2029.
A basic agreement has reportedly already been reached. At this point, it’s just a matter of ironing out the final details and finding a suitable date for the signing. This should finally resolve one of FC Bayern’s most important personnel issues very soon.
Clarity is also emerging on the financial front. According to Sky, Kane will continue to earn around 25 million euros gross per year even after the extension. It appears there will be no significant pay raise for the 33-year-old.
Until recently, the exact terms of the new contract remained unclear. In addition to the contract length, a potential buyout clause was also part of the discussions. However, according to Sky, a decision appears to have been made regarding the contract length: Kane is expected to sign through 2029.
Kane remains among FC Bayern’s highest-paid players
With an annual salary of around 25 million euros, the Englishman will remain among the club’s highest-paid players in the future. Kane is already one of the highest-paid players on the roster, alongside Jamal Musiala.
For FC Bayern, the contract extension means, above all, planning certainty. On the field, Kane remains one of the central pillars of Vincent Kompany’s team and is expected to lead the offense in the coming years as well.
Signs that the negotiations were already entering the home stretch had emerged as early as the beginning of October. At that time, Sky first reported on a fundamental breakthrough and a planned contract term running through 2029.
In the meantime, it seems that only minor details remain to be worked out. The Englishman’s sporting future in Munich is therefore no longer in doubt.

var d=e.data||{};
if(d.type===’FOOTY_WIDGET_HEIGHT’&&typeof d.height===’number‘){iframe.style.height=d.height+’px‘;}
});
})();
The fact that Kane will remain at around 25 million euros gross per year under the new contract should also give Bayern a certain degree of predictability. The club is securing one of its most important stars for the long term without significantly raising Kane’s current salary structure.
The next step is now the signing. As soon as the final details are worked out and a date is set, FC Bayern is expected to make the contract extension official.
