The Moroccan national team player moved to Munich this summer for 50 million following a strong season with PSV Eindhoven and a convincing World Cup performance. There, he signed a contract through 2031 and will wear the number 34 jersey going forward.
Over the past few weeks, the new signing has already had a chance to get a feel for his new surroundings. Now, the spotlight is on his first public appearance.
Injury slowed Saibari down
Most recently, Saibari has been working hard on his comeback. After suffering a torn muscle fiber at the World Cup, he did not travel with the team to Asia but instead trained alongside the other injured players at Säbener Straße.
According to BILD, the Moroccan has made great progress there and is expected to return to training within the next few days. This is very good news for FC Bayern, as they face Leipzig in the Telekom Cup on Saturday and BVB in the Super Cup a week later.
