FC Bayern has released details about this year’s training camp at Lake Tegernsee. At the end of July, Vincent Kompany’s team will prepare for the new season in Rottach-Egern—including public training sessions and a friendly match.
After kicking off training in Munich, FC Bayern will once again head to Lake Tegernsee this summer. From July 27 to 30, the German record champions will set up their training camp in Rottach-Egern, where Vincent Kompany will put the finishing touches on preparations for the new season.
Fans will have several opportunities to see the team up close. A total of three training sessions are open to the public and will take place at 3:30 p.m. each day at the sports field in Rottach-Egern.
Friendly match against FC Rottach-Egern
The training camp will conclude with the traditional friendly match against FC Rottach-Egern. The match kicks off on Thursday, July 30, at 6:00 p.m. at the Birkenmoos Stadium.
Those who cannot attend in person can watch the game for free via livestream. FC Bayern will broadcast the match on FC Bayern TV, the official club app, as well as on Facebook and YouTube.
Tickets available only at the stadium
Tickets for the friendly match will be sold exclusively on Sunday, July 26, starting at 2 p.m., directly at the sports field in Rottach-Egern. A maximum of four tickets will be issued per person; the number of tickets is limited.
Ticket prices are 12 euros for adults and 7 euros for children between the ages of seven and 17, as well as for seniors and people with severe disabilities. Children under the age of seven are admitted free of charge but must still have a ticket.
The same applies to the public training sessions: Admission begins two hours before the start of each training session. However, due to limited capacity, admission cannot be guaranteed. Visitors are asked to follow the on-site signage regarding parking and access points.
This once again gives Bayern fans the opportunity to experience Vincent Kompany’s team up close shortly before the start of the season.
