Noel Aseko’s future remains uncertain. Although recent reports had strongly suggested a move to Eintracht Frankfurt, according to the latest information, the transfer is far from a done deal.
Just a few days ago, Noel Aseko returned to FC Bayern following his successful loan stint with Hannover 96. But the 20-year-old could leave Munich again as early as this summer. Speculation about a move to Eintracht Frankfurt has been swirling for days.
Several media outlets had even recently reported that the transfer was already a done deal. But apparently, things haven’t quite reached that stage yet.
Neither the player nor the clubs have reached an agreement.
As the Abendzeitung München reports, Aseko has not yet decided to move to Eintracht. Although the Hessian club is said to have offered the German U21 national team player a contract through 2030, including an option for an additional season, the player has not yet given his consent.
According to the report, there are also still unresolved issues between the two clubs. FC Bayern is reportedly demanding a transfer fee of up to 15 million euros. A buyback clause—the kind Munich has recently agreed to for some young talents—is reportedly not currently part of the discussions.
Other interested clubs are also in the mix

It comes as little surprise that Aseko is in high demand following his strong season in Hannover. His market value is now estimated at around 12 million euros.
With his high work rate and aggressive playing style, the midfielder was one of the key players for the Lower Saxony club and also made his debut for the German U21 national team last September.
According to the Abendzeitung München, in addition to Eintracht Frankfurt, clubs from abroad are also showing interest in the 20-year-old. Among those mentioned are AS Roma and Hull City.
It’s also possible he’ll stay in Munich.
It’s not entirely out of the question that he could stay with FC Bayern. Coach Vincent Kompany is said to appreciate the defensive midfielder’s qualities. Leon Goretzka’s departure could open up additional opportunities for him in central midfield.
As things stand, Noel Aseko’s future remains completely up in the air. Whether the youngster signs with Frankfurt, moves abroad, or is given a chance at FC Bayern after all is likely to be decided in the coming weeks.
