For Bayern, this is encouraging news from a sporting perspective. After all, Saibari has once again confirmed his strong form. At the same time, the goal could complicate the ongoing transfer negotiations.

PSV still holds the upper hand

The Dutch champions are reportedly still demanding a total package of up to 60 million euros, including bonus payments, for the national team player. Bayern, on the other hand, would like to stay below the 50 million euro mark if possible, according to reports so far.
However, with strong performances on the international stage, Saibari is improving his negotiating position and that of his club. Every further convincing performance could provide PSV with additional arguments to stick to their high demands.
The situation is reminiscent of the negotiations for Nathaniel Brown. In that case as well, Munich sought to reach an agreement early on, before the player’s market value increased further at the World Cup.
In Saibari’s case, this move has not yet succeeded. The Moroccan is currently using the tournament as an international showcase and is drawing additional attention with his performances.
