The central defender has been considered a potential sales candidate by the German record champions for some time and could actually leave the club in the summer
According to the report, Fenerbahce’s technical director Ertan Torunogullari has already held initial talks with FC Bayern and the player’s side
In particular, the Turkish top club is said to have gathered information on the financial framework of a possible transfer
What is particularly interesting is that Kim already knows Fenerbahce very well. The South Korean played in Istanbul in the 2021/22 season, where he recommended himself to SSC Napoli with strong performances. His path ultimately led him to FC Bayern via the Italian champions in 2023
Bayern demands 25 million euros
According to Sabuncuoglu, Munich are demanding a transfer fee of around 25 million euros for the defender. However, this would represent a significant transfer fee for FC Bayern. Almost three years ago, Munich transferred around 50 million euros to SSC Napoli to bring Kim to Säbener Straße
