As reported by tz, there was a serious traffic accident involving Jamal Musiala on the A8 near Neubiberg/Oberhaching in the direction of Salzburg back in April 2025
The 23-year-old is said to have crashed his Audi RS7 into a VW Golf, causing minor injuries to a 30-year-old man from Munich and his 26-year-old passenger. According to the report, both suffered a slight concussion
Musiala himself and his 16-year-old sister Latisha, who was also in the vehicle, were uninjured
The Bayern professional now confirmed the incident personally to BILD: „It’s true that I had an accident in April 2025, which I also caused. Of course, I also take responsibility for this. I’m all the more grateful that nobody was seriously injured as a result of my carelessness.“
Driver’s license revoked and high property damage
According to information from BILD, the accident caused total damage of around 200,000 euros and both vehicles were totaled
In addition, both the right and left crash barriers were damaged. Musiala’s Audi is said to have been slowed down by the right crash barrier and came to a standstill there
As a result of the accident, the national player’s driver’s license was revoked
Musiala was also open about this: „I have accepted my punishment for this and also the driving ban in this form.“

The attacking player also described the accident as a formative experience: „The accident was a really drastic event that I had to come to terms with for myself afterwards. Today, I’m just happy and grateful that neither I nor anyone else was seriously injured.“
According to Musiala himself, he informed FC Bayern and the DFB about the incident at an early stage
„The people in charge at FC Bayern and the DFB knew about the incident at all times and supported me wherever they could – I’m grateful to them for that too,“ explained the Bayern star.
