FC Bayern beat Werder Bremen 3-0 on matchday 22. The Bayern stars in the FCBinside individual review.
Manuel Neuer: Couldn’t get anything on target in the first half and had to be substituted at the break with a knock. 3
Josip Stanisic: Lined up at right-back and was very active on his side. Stanisic repeatedly dared to make forays forward and often moved into central midfield when in possession. However, the final pass or the final cross often failed to arrive. Mark: 3
Jonathan Tah: Won several important duels and was always alert. There was no getting past Tah for Bremen. Good game from the centre-back. Mark: 2
Minjae Kim: Briefly had problems with Bremen’s high pressing in the early stages, but Kim quickly recovered and played a solid game. Grade: 3
Konrad Laimer: Was initially deployed at left-back. Didn’t make any mistakes, but didn’t pose much of a threat offensively. After Davies came on as a substitute, Laimer finished the game on the right flank. Mark: 3
Joshua Kimmich: Played a few good passes in depth, but also had several very dangerous ball losses. Kimmich looked unfocused at times. Mark: 4

Leon Goretzka: Was responsible for winning the ball deep in Bremen’s half before Kane made it 2-0. Goretzka also scored himself to make it 3-0 for Bayern. He also had a convincing passing rate. Overall, a good performance from the international, after only a few minutes of play recently. Grade: 2
Lennart Karl: Dribbled well to win the penalty that Kane converted to make it 1-0 for Bayern. Had several strong actions on the ball in the first half. The youngster was also industrious in defence and won a number of duels. However, there was little to see of Karl in the second half. Mark: 3
Serge Gnabry: Completely submerged in the first half. At the start of the second half, Gnabry dribbled his way through what should have been a good chance to score. Gnabry then had the 3-0 on his feet after a strong pass from Kane, but missed – a very weak finish. Gnabry cannot be accused of a lack of attitude, but he did not make enough of an impact. Mark: 4
Luis Diaz: Provided the assist for Kane’s 2-0. Diaz then ran at Backhaus but was denied by the Werder keeper. The Colombian was out of the game for long stretches and only had a few dangerous moments. But Diaz was once again a committed player. Mark: 3
Harry Kane: Had Bayern’s first shot, but shot over. Converted the penalty with great precision to make it 1-0 for FCB. His finish at 2-0 from around 22 metres was top class. Kane was once again all over the pitch: in defence, in midfield and up front. Convincing performance. Grade: 2

Substitute
Jonas Urbig (45th for Neuer): Was lucky immediately after coming on as a substitute when Bremen’s Grüll headed against the post – Urbig wouldn’t have got it back. The young Bayern goalkeeper then defused a chance from Schmid. grade: 3
Jamal Musiala (69th for Gnabry): Claimed a lot of balls and often went into dribbles. Despite his great commitment, however, he didn’t score much. Musiala fired a dangerous shot in the final minutes, but Backhaus was able to hold on. Mark: 3
Alphonso Davies (69 for Stanisic): Secured the assist for Goretzka’s goal to make it 3-0. Otherwise played the game flawlessly to the end. Mark: 3
Tom Bischof (75 for Kimmich): Came on too late to score
Nicolas Jackson (86th for Kane): Came on too late to score
