Katharina Naschenweng has extended her contract with FC Bayern until the summer of 2028. The Austrian international moved to Munich from TSG Hoffenheim in 2023 and quickly developed into an important player in the double-winning squad despite an injury setback
Club director Bianca Rech made it clear why Bayern have long-term plans for the 28-year-old: „She brings a quality that is very important to us and that we will also need in the coming years.“ The club particularly emphasized her versatility. Naschenweng had fought her way back with a lot of discipline after cruciate ligament surgery and celebrated her comeback on the second matchday of the current season.
