Many details about FC Bayern’s search for a coach are leaking into the public domain, causing unrest. Michael Ballack does not blame FC Bayern for this. The former Bayern player is also certain that Munich will still find a good coach.

In an interview with Sky, Michael Ballack has commented on FC Bayern’s difficult search for a coach. According to the former Bayern star, it is not the club’s fault that details from negotiations with coaching candidates have ended up in the media.

„The difficulty comes from the fact that some things end up in the public domain. It’s not primarily FC Bayern’s fault, but that of the protagonists who are being dealt with, who have been spoken to,“ said the 47-year-old.

According to Ballack, the coach protagonists „always show tendencies, interests, to do it this way, to handle it this way“.

Ballack: Bayern will find a „good coach“

Ballack thinks it’s normal that you „don’t always get on with the first coaching candidate straight away. I think that’s the case with every club. It’s nothing out of the ordinary. And it’s always a bit louder at FC Bayern,“ he emphasised.

FC Bayern suffered their fourth defeat after those in charge were unable to prise Oliver Glasner away from his current club Crystal Palace. The people in charge at Säbener Straße are still looking for a new Bayern coach for the coming season and are now even discussing the possibility of Thomas Tuchel staying on.

Even if that doesn’t work out, Ballack remains optimistic: „I think they’ll find a coach and a good one too.“
