Bayern are facing their first title-less season since 2011/12 and Felix Magath believes that the problems in Munich this season are of their own making. According to him, those responsible should have reacted some time ago, but at the latest in February, when they announced the separation at the end of the season.

„From my point of view, the ripcord should have been pulled when it was decided that Thomas Tuchel would no longer be the coach next season,“ said Magath in an interview with BILD.
According to the 70-year-old, Tuchel has become a „lame duck“ at FC Bayern since the announcement of the separation. According to his own statements, he has often had this experience: „When I’m with teams and the players know that the coach will be gone next season, you no longer have any access as a coach,“ said Magath.
At the same time, Magath defended Tuchel. According to him, the 50-year-old lacks the necessary support: „The coach is always put in front and told that the coach has to do it. No, it’s up to the whole club and not just the coach. No coach anywhere can control a player like Thomas Müller. It’s a club matter and the board members are also called upon to take action,“ demanded Magath.

Mit welcher Berechtigung hat Magath eigentlich noch eine Plattform. Der verbreitet nur Blödsinn
In diesen Verein muss wieder Beständigkeit und Ruhe hineinkommen.
Mit Thomas Tuchel werden aktuell schonungslos die Schwachstellen des Kaders aufgezeigt und genau das hat es gebraucht.
Ein neuer Trainer wäre wieder in mitten einer schwachen Saison verfeuert worden.
Zur neuen Saison kann nun ein Umbruch stattfinden, den ein unvorbelasteter Trainer mit begleiten kann.
Da Alonso raus ist, hoffe ich auf Zidane.
