FC Bayern isn’t just the center of attention on the sports front during its Asian tour. The record champion’s enormous appeal is also evident off the field: the jerseys of the Munich stars are highly sought after by local fans. Now, Bayern’s head of marketing and sales, Rouven Kasper, has revealed which player jerseys are particularly popular—and what surprises there are.
FC Bayern has enjoyed enormous popularity in Asia for years. The current Audi Summer Tour across the continent once again demonstrates just how great the enthusiasm is for the German record champions. Thousands of fans accompany the team to public events and exhibition matches—and, of course, the jerseys of the Bayern stars are in particularly high demand.
As part of this year’s Asian tour, the record champions are featuring special edition jerseys. The team is taking the field in unique designs created specifically for the trip to Asia, intended to highlight the connection between the club and its international fans.
In addition to their on-field performance, the names on the backs of the jerseys are a particularly important factor for the fans. Bayern’s Head of Marketing and Sales, Rouven Kasper, has now revealed which players are currently the most popular among fans.
Neuer, Kimmich, and Diaz Are Especially Popular
“Manuel Neuer, Jo Kimmich, and Luis Diaz. But jerseys of young players like Tom Bischof and Aleks Pavlović are also in high demand,” Kasper explained.
The list shows that jerseys of top stars and established greats sell the most. With Olise and Kane absent from the Asian tour, Neuer, Kimmich, and Diaz are likely to be among the biggest stars on the Bayern squad.

But it’s not just the jerseys of the top stars that are in high demand; those of some young, up-and-coming players are also selling well: “Jerseys of young players like Tom Bischof and Aleks Pavlović are also in high demand,” said Kasper.
The high demand for the jerseys clearly shows that Bayern’s stars are in demand worldwide. In addition to big names like Neuer, Kimmich, and Diaz, the new faces are also ensuring that the record champion’s jerseys remain among the most popular in international soccer.
