FC Bayern has apparently sealed its next transfer. After sporting director Christoph Freund had already spoken of negotiations being at an advanced stage, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is now reporting that a full agreement has been reached.
FC Bayern’s squad planning continues to take shape. Following the signings of Nathaniel Brown and Ismael Saibari, the Munich club has apparently also finalized the permanent transfer of Bara Sapoko Ndiaye.
As transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports, the record champions and Gambinos Stars have agreed on a permanent transfer of the 18-year-old midfielder. The formalities and the official announcement are expected to take place next week.
Contract through 2031 – Kompany was impressed by Ndiaye
According to Romano, Ndiaye will sign a long-term contract with FC Bayern running through 2031. In addition, the Senegalese player is expected to be given the chance to establish himself permanently in the first-team squad. A key factor in this decision is head coach Vincent Kompany, who is regarded internally as a strong advocate for the young talent.
Ndiaye was already on loan to FC Bayern from the Gambian soccer academy Gambinos Stars Africa during the second half of last season. With strong performances in training, he surprisingly earned a spot on the first-team roster and has already made four Bundesliga appearances for Munich. His selection for Senegal’s World Cup squad has also caused his market value to rise significantly recently.

Sports director Christoph Freund had already confirmed that the transfer was nearing completion after the friendly match against SV Wehen Wiesbaden. At the time, the Austrian stated: “The final details still need to be worked out, but I expect him to start the season with us. Bara will take the fitness tests next Monday and then join us at the training camp at Lake Tegernsee.”
With the agreement now reported, the final step appears to have been taken. Should the official announcement come next week as expected, Ndiaye would already be FC Bayern’s next signing this transfer window. At the same time, Kompany would be bringing another top target to Säbener Straße on a permanent basis.
