FC Bayern Munich has already made two major signings this summer. Nathaniel Brown joined from Eintracht Frankfurt, and Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven. The Moroccan is already in Munich—and for good reason.
While Brown was eliminated relatively early with the German national team at the 2026 World Cup, Saibari at least reached the quarterfinals with Morocco. However, the record champion’s new attacking player was unable to participate in that important match due to a muscle injury.
For him, the priority now is to recover from the grueling summer and heal his injury before he really gets going at FC Bayern.
Bayern Plans Welcome Ceremony for Saibari
The Moroccan’s transfer was already confirmed in early July during the World Cup, and the corresponding photos for social media were taken at FCB’s U.S. office.

An official presentation, including a press conference, will take place after his vacation.
According to a report in *kicker*, the exact date of his arrival will be determined after further medical examinations in Munich, where the extent of his injury will be assessed.
In general, FC Bayern plans to exclude from the trip to Asia (August 1–8) only those players who reached the World Cup semifinals. Saibari could theoretically be part of the squad, but a decision has not yet been made.
The 25-year-old landed in Munich today, but not just to undergo a thorough examination by the medical staff shortly. According to BILD, an official welcome ceremony is already planned for today.
The record champion’s social media team was, of course, already on hand upon his arrival at the airport. As is customary with many other new signings, Saibari is being accompanied on his first day in Munich. In addition to Saibari, his agent and several family members were also present.
Bayern fans can therefore expect to see related updates on social media channels soon.
