Goretzka’s camp had already reached a broad agreement with Milan. But then the deal stalled because, after failing to qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season, the Rossoneri fired coach Massimiliano Allegri and several members of the sporting staff.
Goretzka: Juventus Back in the Running
Meanwhile, Juventus Turin had also been interested in signing him ever since Goretzka’s departure from Munich became public. The major problem, however, was that Milan was clearly ahead in the race, and Juventus first had to make room in its squad.

It’s no secret that Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri is a fan of Goretzka. A departure by Thuram would not only free up space on the field but also in the payroll budget. That’s why it could trigger a domino effect.
If PSG puts pressure on Juventus regarding Thuram, the club would seriously consider a transfer. The logic behind this is clear: they could sign Goretzka on a free transfer and reinvest part of the transfer fee. At the same time, this would immediately give Goretzka a clear role in the midfield.
However, a deal for Thuram must first be agreed upon; so far, there has been no concrete offer from PSG.
