FC Bayern is getting closer and closer to its next dream signing. Ismael Saibari is on the verge of a move to Munich. For PSV Eindhoven, the departure of the Moroccan international would even go down in club history.
While Bayern is simultaneously working on signing Nathaniel Brown, the Munich club is also in the home stretch of the transfer negotiations for Ismael Saibari.
As reported by several Dutch media outlets, negotiations between the German record champions and PSV Eindhoven are still in full swing. Both sides are now highly confident that the deal can be successfully concluded shortly.
Bayern significantly increases offer
It was clear from the start that PSV would only let their star player go for an exceptionally high transfer fee. According to the latest information from Voetbal International, Bayern has now raised its offer to around 53 million euros. This brings the record champions significantly closer to the Dutch club’s expectations.
Discussions are currently focused primarily on the exact structure of the transfer. In addition to the payment terms, the bonus payments and their conditions must also be finalized.
However, there apparently no longer seem to be any fundamental doubts about a successful conclusion.
The player himself made his decision long ago. Saibari has already given FC Bayern his approval for a transfer. A contract running through 2031 is ready in Munich, which the Moroccan international is expected to sign once negotiations are concluded.
This is another reason why all parties involved are pushing for a quick resolution.

The 25-year-old is currently with Morocco at the World Cup and wants clarity about his future as soon as possible. On Sunday, he will kick off the tournament with the Atlas Lions against Brazil.
For PSV Eindhoven, the transfer would hold special significance. With a transfer fee of over 50 million euros, Saibari would become the most expensive sale in the club’s history. The previous record is held by Hirving Lozano, who moved to SSC Napoli for around 45 million euros in 2019. That record would now be significantly surpassed.
From the Dutch club’s perspective, it would be one of the biggest transfers in the club’s history and, at the same time, further proof of their successful development of top players.
Kompany is pushing for the deal
In Munich, Saibari is held in very high regard internally. Vincent Kompany is said to have personally advocated for signing the attacking player. The Belgian sees Saibari as a player who can fill multiple positions in attacking midfield and would add extra dynamism to Bayern’s play.
With 28 points last season, the Moroccan was one of the Eredivisie’s standout players, earning a spot on the wish lists of numerous top European clubs.
As things stand, there is every indication that FC Bayern could announce the deal in the coming days. While the final details between the clubs still need to be worked out, a basic agreement is getting closer and closer.
