FC Bayern are continuing to work on their squad planning for the coming season and there are apparently two candidates for the position of right-back
FC Bayern could also make some changes at right-back in the summer. As reported by Sport BILD, the Munich club are still keeping a close eye on two young candidates: Josh Acheampong from Chelsea FC and Givairo Read from Feyenoord Rotterdam
Both players are apparently regarded internally as exciting future solutions for the right side of defense
Josh Acheampong seems to be particularly interesting. The Englishman is still under contract with Chelsea FC until 2029 and is considered one of the club’s most exciting defensive talents. The 20-year-old is mainly at home as a right-back, but can also be deployed in central defense
At 1.90 meters tall, Acheampong also has a physically strong profile that could fit in perfectly with Vincent Kompany’s intense style of play. His current market value is estimated at around 25 million euros

Givairo Read also remains on the Bayern bosses‘ radar, according to the report. The Dutchman from Feyenoord Rotterdam has already been linked with a move to Munich several times in recent months
Most recently, the 19-year-old himself spoke openly about his future: „It’s no longer a secret that clubs are watching me and a move could be on the cards in the summer.“
Internally, Bayern are said to still be interested in Read, although a transfer iscurrently not an absolute priority according to Sky. The high transfer fee demanded by Feyenoord also remains a problem, with the Dutch side reportedly still asking for around 30 million euros
At the same time, the future of Sacha Boey remains open. According to Sport BILD, the Frenchman could stay at his current loan club Galatasaray Istanbul. The Turkish top club can therefore imagine keeping Boey beyond the summer
Bayern could well make changes to the right-back position in the summer.
