After advancing against FC Arsenal, FC Bayern will face the next top European team, Real Madrid, in the semi-finals of the Champions League. Thomas Tuchel has great respect for the Whites, especially their style of play.

Tuchel recently emphasised that Real had been observed very closely. He was particularly impressed by the fact that the Spaniards score goals „that you don’t see“.

According to Tuchel, Real Madrid also shine with their great comeback qualities: „In the Clásico, they were able to respond immediately, it seems natural. That’s what sets them apart.“

But it’s not just the team’s unity that impresses the FCB coach, Real also have outstanding individual talents: „It’s the highest individual quality paired with switching power and perfect technical execution on the counter-attack“.

Added to this is the club’s and players‘ enormous experience in the Champions League: „They are always capable of winning a tournament,“ warned the Bayern coach.

Ex-Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti’s team squeezed through to the semi-finals of the Champions League in a penalty shoot-out against Manchester City and have also recently boosted their confidence in the league with a 3:2 win in the Clásico against FC Barcelona.

Last weekend, they celebrated a narrow 1:0 win against Real Sociedad with a „B“ team.
