Is FC Bayern in for a big shake-up after its Champions League exit? According to current media reports, club boss Oliver is no longer really secure in his chair at the German record champion. According to reports, the 53-year-old is even threatened with an early exit from the Isar.

Criticism of the Bayern bosses has increased significantly in recent weeks. Last night, during the second leg of the CL against Manchester City, several critical banners could be seen in the Allianz Arena against the Munich management. Especially sports director Hasan Salihamidzic and club boss Oliver Kahn are in the focus of criticism. According to the latest reports, Kahn is even threatened with leaving the FCB.

Kahn’s sacking „only a question of time“

As the former Bundesliga professional and TV pundit Jan Aage Fjörtoft reported via Twitter, Kahn is allegedly up for disposal in Munich: „I was told that it is an „ongoing process“ and that it is „only a matter of time“ until Oliver Kahn, the chairman of the board of FC Bayern, is relieved of his post,“ he wrote after the exit in the top flight.

According to Fjörtoft, on the other hand, Hasan Salihamidzic doesn’t seem to be a shaky candidate: „Some thought Salihamidzic wasn’t so sure, but he’s a „Hoeneß man“ and that seems to save him for now.“

Is Hoeneß making a comeback at FC Bayern?

As Fjörtoft has heard, there are already concrete discussions within the FCB about who could succeed Kahn as interim boss. Besides President Herbert Hainer, Uli Hoeneß seems to be a potential candidate. The 71-year-old currently sits on the Munich supervisory board and thus also has a direct influence on Kahn’s future.

One thing is clear: the pressure on those responsible in Munich has increased noticeably. It remains to be seen, however, what is actually true about Fjörtoft’s current suspicions. Even though the Norwegian is considered an industry insider, he has not necessarily appeared as a „Bayern insider“ in the past. However, it is interesting to note that „BILD“ is already speculating about Kahn’s premature departure from FC Bayern.
