Alphonso Davies has been linked with a move away from FC Bayern for some time. According to current media reports, there are two top European clubs that would like to try their luck with the Canadian next summer. The FCB, on the other hand, is still working on a contract extension.

Even though Davies is still contractually bound to FC Bayern until 2025, reports keep making the rounds that the full-back could leave the record champions prematurely. Real Madrid in particular are said to be very interested in the 22-year-old. As reported by Sky, Manchester City are also keeping a close eye on the Canadian international. According to the TV channel, both top clubs are considering making a move for Davies next summer.

Bayern want to tie Davies down for the long term

Davies is considered unsellable in Munich. Bayern are working on an early contract extension. According to reports, there have already been initial exploratory talks between the club and the player. The Munich club wants to finalise the extension in the course of the year. Davies, too, is basically open to staying at the Isar for the long term, but is pushing for a salary increase.
