The last few weeks have been really tough for Ryan Gravenberch. The talented Dutchman came to Bayern with a promised perspective and he thought that gametime will not be a problem after the impression that Julian Nagelsmann left him, but he only started 2 games this season and in the other games he entered the last 20 minutes while in some he did not play at all.

His agent Rafaela Pimenta has commented on the player’s situation and according to her, the situation does not really come as a surprise: „Bayern have too many good players. It’s the same with [Noussair] Mazraoui or [Matthijs] de Ligt. Bayern have a lot of international players in the team and are generally a great club“, said the consultant in an interview for Sky.

Recently, Gravenberch showed his frustration once again on his lack of minutes: „The situation is not easy for me. Of course, I want to play. But I have to stay patient“, said the midfielder for Abendzeitung a few days ago.

Most recently, Gravenberch received a total of zero minutes in the last three matches before the Hoffenheim game. He did not receive any minute against SC Freiburg despite a comfortable 5-0 win, or any minutes in the 2-5 win against FC Augsburg in the DFB Pokal. In the last game against Hoffenheim, Gravenberch was subbed on in the last 14 minutes of the match.

The agent has faith in her clients that their time to play will come: „It’s frustrating for players when they don’t play. After moving to Bayern, it’s a big change, but I’m sure their time will come soon because they are top players“

Pimenta also represents Noussair Mazraoui and Matthijs De Ligt who have a much better situation than Gravenberch at the moment, especially De Ligt who is now a regular starter in the last month but knowing the fact that Nagelsmann said that both he and Ryan understand each other is really relieving.
