Bayern youngster Jamal Musiala made a fantastic start of the season and has impressed with his performances so far.

Musiala has proven several times in the past season what potential he has and this season the versatile young man could make the final breakthrough with the team.

The German international made a furious start by scoring 4 goals and making 2 assist in the first 5 games. Due to a minor injury, Musiala had to miss the game against VfL Bochum, but most recently, he assisted the important goal of Leroy Sané against Borussia Mönchengladbach which ensured Bayern’s draw.

From Bayern legend, Lothar Matthäus‘ point of view, Musiala will be unstoppable once he hits his peak: „He reminds me of Lionel Messi with his joy, his movements, his dribbling. I trust him, if the development continues like this and as part of a successful team in order to win big things. He has the potential that you can definitely count on a Ballon d’Or and the FIFA World Player title.“

The 61-year-old even sees the youngster as a potential successor to Robert Lewandowski: „Musiala is a down-to-earth person. He always wants to improve. This ambition drives him. If he keeps that up, he can succeed Robert Lewandowski.”
