Corentin Tolisso’s future is yet to be clarified even though there have been no talks with Bayern Munich or any other club that would want to sign him.

„No final decision has been made yet“, with these words Julian Nagelsmann recently made it clear that a possible stay of the Frenchman is not completely impossible.

In the past, the Bayern coach has repeatedly come out as a „big fan“ of the midfielder and appreciates his qualities. Unfortunately, what spoke against the player was the fact that Tolisso’s injury record is quite negative and moreover has missed 19 games this season.

A new report from ‚Tageszeitung‘ says that Tolisso would like to stay at Bayern Munich. The 27-year-old feels very comfortable with his family in the Bavarian capital.

However, the contract extension is difficult to materialize due to the financial conditions. According to the newspaper, Tolisso would have to lower his demands for the salary if he wants to stay in Munich. As a result, Bayern might be open for a contract extension.

Whether it will actually come to that point is completely open. According to „BILD“, Tolisso demanded a salary increase in the most recent talks. In addition: As a free agent in his peak footballing age, he will certainly receive numerous offers and inquiries in the summer, probably some that are financially more attractive than what Bayern can offer him. But again, him being prone to injuries could also become a problem.
