Kahn on Lewandowski rumors: „There is a competition who brings the most nonsense“
In the past few days, numerous reports have been circulating that the 33-year-old striker is flirting with a move to FC Barcelona. Oliver Kahn has now commented on the ongoing rumors and ruled out a transfer in the summer.
Although, the media reports from Poland, according to which Lewandowski will switch to FC Barcelona in the summer, have proven to be wrong, the rumors about a possible farewell from FC Bayern continue.
„Now let’s wait for the talks“
Before the Champions League second leg against FC Villarreal, club boss Oliver Kahn commented for the first time: „There seems to be a competition out there who brings the biggest nonsense story about Lewandowski. We have a contract with him that lasts for another season,” the 52-year-old told Prime Video.
According to Kahn, nobody in Munich is thinking about selling Lewandowski in the summer: „Robert knows what he has in Bayern and we know what we have in him. We’re not crazy and we’re talking about a transfer for a player who scores 30-40 goals a season. Now let’s wait for the talks.“
