Ryan Gravenberch is at the top of Bayern Munich’s wish list. The record champions are currently working to sign the 19-year-old midfielder and have already made an initial offer to Ajax Amsterdam. Gravenberch himself has now commented on the rumors about a possible move to Bayern for the first time and has confirmed Bayern’s interest himself.

Gravenberch is set to succeed Corentin Tolisso at Bayern Munich, and the Frenchman is likely to leave Bayern free of charge in the summer. Gravenberch told the Dutch radio station „NOS“ that the contract negotiations with Ajax have definitely been stopped: „I only have one year left on the contract and that’s it. We’ll see what happens.“

„I don’t know if I’m worth 25 million euros“

When asked about Bayern’s interest and their offer, the midfielder said: „I’ll leave that to my father and my manager. I just have to play football and that’s it. Of course, I’ve heard about their interest! You can read it everywhere. There is interest from Bayern and I think from several other clubs as well.“

Gravenberch also claims that the sum that Ajax has put for him is too much. This sum will most likely become the main problem that prevents Bayern from signing Gravenberch as early as possible, but the Bavarians won’t give up.

„I don’t know if I’m worth 25 million euros. That’s a lot of money“, said Gravenberch

According to the recent rumors, Bayern and Ajax Amsterdam started transfer negotiations last week. Ajax are rumored to be asking €30-35m for Gravenberch. Bayern, on the other hand, are said to have deposited 25 million euros as the first offer, which reportedly includes 15 million euro plus bonuses. In addition to Bayern, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus are also interested in the top talent.

But despite all the interest from the said clubs, Bayern seems to have the better cards, also because the Dutchman himself wants to move to Bayern.
