The Norwegian striker has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich for almost two years now. Among the reasons why Bayern have also struggled to extend with Robert Lewandowski so far is also due to a possible transfer of Erling Haaland. However, this stance has already changed.

Bayern are facing problems with extending the Polish striker for a few more years. According to ‚SPORT1‘, Lewandowski has been left irritated by the negligence of the board. In the next few weeks, it is reported that Bayern will start talks with Lewandowski over a contract extension. Despite all the doubts surrounding his future, Bayern’s priority is still to extend with their top striker, even though it’s getting difficult.

On the other hand, Haaland should not be a serious concern anymore. The Norwegian’s most likely destination is set to be Manchester City or Real Madrid. Barcelona have also refrained from signing the striker. The reasons for Bayern’s hesitancy to deal with Haaland are obvious; the striker is very expensive not just when it comes to the transfer fee, but also on the overall package.

The player would cost 300 million euro total package, including bonus fees to his agent as well. Though, even if Bayern were to be interested, the player himself is apparently not interested in a move to Munich. The Norwegian tends to move abroad.
