After the deal with Andreas Christensen failed, Bayern Munich continue to explore the market intensively. Matthias Ginter has long been considered a candidate. The German national team player was always included in the shortlist with names such as Antonio Rüdiger or Christensen. Now the topic of Ginter is getting serious again. Though, from both sides, Bayern and Gladbach, it’s becoming confusing as to how Ginter’s future will be.

Internally, Matthias Ginter was always considered a plan B or C, should the transfers of Andreas Christensen or Antonio Rüdiger fail. Even Torino star Gleison Bremer is rated higher than Ginter. However, all three no longer seem to be options. Christensen moves to Spain. Antonio Rüdiger’s salary demands are unrealistic. While Bremer is likely to join Inter Milan in the summer as the talks are said to be more advanced.

As „BILD“ reports , those responsible at Borussia M’Gladbach are already certain that Ginter’s new destination will be Bayern Munich. It’s assumed that the transfer is already done. In Munich, the story is different. The bosses are still divided when it comes to the German defender as some of them are still not convinced by Matthias Ginter’s qualities. So for the time being, there is still no significant development on Ginter’s case, however, the fact that Gladbach seem to be sure that Ginter is moving to Bavaria this summer could also mean something.

But of course, Ginter is leaving on a free this summer and Gladbach will not have any power to decide or be vigilant of his future. Ginter himself isn’t averse to a move to Munich. Recently, there were reports from Italy that claimed Ginter had already rejected the offers from Inter Milan and is heading towards Bayern. The recent rumors of Bremer being on advanced terms with Inter correspond well with what was told few weeks ago in Italy.
