Bayern Munich have been linked with Ajax’s midfielder Ryan Gravenberch since last week and the signs have pointed out a possible transfer. However, things could change in the coming weeks or months.

Although Bayern seemed in pole position for the Dutch, they are already facing competition. According to Gazetta dello Sport (via GFNI), Serie A powerhouse Juventus have joined the race for the 19 years old talent.

As it has been reported, Juventus are now holding talks with Ajax and consider Gravenberch as the first solution for their midfield.

The competition gets tighter

Now that Juventus will also be fighting for the signature of the Dutch, it is going to get tighter for Bayern. It’s been reported for couple of days now that Gravenberch wants to join Bayern, but with Juventus entering the race things might change.

Gravenberch agent is Mino Raiola, and Juventus are said to hold excellent relations not just with the agent, but also with Ajax. From Ajax, Bayern don’t have much to remember recently, except from the fact that they were played out big time by Ajax while pushing for Sergino Dest.
