A very sought-after talent could be slowly approaching Munich this summer. According to the media reports, Bayern Munich are in pole position for Ajax’s midfielder Ryan Gravenberch.

The Dutch daily newspaper “Algemeen Dagblad” was the first to report on Friday that the Bavarian giants were interested in Gravenberch. Now, the reliable “Telegraaf” has revealed further details. According to the newspaper, Bayern is already in contact with the player’s management.

In addition, there have already been initial concrete talks regarding the salary. The Dutch international is on the wish lists of numerous top European clubs, but talks with the German record champions are said to be ‘the most concrete’. In addition, Gravenberch is tempted by the idea of going to Bayern.

Ajax want 25-30 million euros for the player

In Amsterdam, it’s become clear that the player doesn’t want to renew. His agent, Mino Raiola, and the Dutch club have agreed on good terms that the player will be departing this summer. The midfielder’s contract ends next year, which means he has to be sold this summer to avoid losing him on free.

According to ‘Telegraaf’, Ajax want a transfer fee of 25 to 30 million euros. These are going to be interesting months and it remains to be seen whether Bayern Munich will continue to push for the signing, considering the transfer fee. On the other hand, they have to deal with strengthening the defense.
