Nathaniel Brown’s transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt to FC Bayern is complete. The national team player will take the field in the record champion’s jersey starting next season. He also sent a message to FCB fans right away.
On Friday, FC Bayern confirmed that the left back has signed a contract through the summer of 2031. He had already completed his medical exam in Munich.
It was originally planned to take place in the U.S., but the German national team’s early exit from the 2026 World Cup ultimately led to a change in those plans.
Brown Talks About His Bayern Deal
The new signing, who can play in several positions, promptly gave an interview to the club’s media channels, offering a glimpse into his current state of mind.
“It’s indescribable. FC Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. And since I’m from Bavaria myself, almost everyone in my hometown of Amberg is an FC Bayern fan—that’s what I grew up with. That makes it extra special, of course. It’s all very exciting for me—and it’s also a huge step for me,” said Brown.

Brown, who just had a strong season with Eintracht Frankfurt, is expected to bring new elements to the record champions’ game. That’s the clear plan, which is why FCB signed him.
He describes his own goals as follows: “I want to be as successful as possible on the field, win lots of titles with FC Bayern, and celebrate them with the fans. I want to have fun with the guys, and I’m already really looking forward to getting to know everyone. On a personal level, I want to continue to mature and become even more grown-up.”
Due to Germany’s early exit from the World Cup, Brown—along with the other German national team players and any other national team players at FC Bayern who were eliminated—will first head off on summer vacation. He will then rejoin the team in Munich as preseason training gets underway.
