FC Bayern has long since shifted its focus beyond established stars for the first team. The Munich club remains active in the international youth market as well. According to recent reports, Bayern is now keeping an eye on one of Slovenia’s most exciting offensive talents.
While Max Eberl and Christoph Freund are currently working on reinforcements for the professional team, the search for tomorrow’s stars continues behind the scenes. Christoph Freund, in particular, is considered a driving force when it comes to identifying young talent early on and bringing them to Munich.
Aron Vucic seems to fit this profile perfectly.
As reported by the Slovenian portal Ekipa, FC Bayern is among the clubs currently keeping a close eye on the 15-year-old forward. The young player is under contract with FC Koper and has been making waves in his home country for quite some time.
“Baby Haaland” is turning heads

Vucic is considered a classic center forward and has already been given a prominent nickname in Slovenia: “Baby Haaland.”
The comparison is no coincidence. The striker has an impressive physical presence, is extremely determined in front of the goal, and stands out for his high-quality finishing.
Despite his young age, Vucic is already said to consistently impress against older players and boasts a remarkable goal-scoring rate.
No wonder, then, that the list of clubs interested in him keeps growing.
Bayern faces stiff competition
FC Bayern is by no means the only club with the young Slovenian on its radar.
According to the report, FC Barcelona and Juventus Turin, among others, have sent scouts on multiple occasions to watch the forward in person.
Juventus, in particular, has apparently been keeping an eye on the talent for quite some time and is said to have been among the first clubs to take notice of Vucic.
The competition for the Munich club is accordingly formidable. At FC Koper, they have long been aware of the player’s value.
That is why the club’s management has already signed the young striker to a professional contract. This puts the club in a significantly stronger negotiating position should concrete talks actually take place.
A potential transfer would therefore not be possible on a free transfer.
Bayern’s talent strategy remains unchanged
The interest in Vucic demonstrates once again that FC Bayern continues to place great emphasis on youth development.
With players like Lennart Karl, Bara Sapoko Ndiaye, and Jonah Kusi-Asare, the Munich club has recently proven on multiple occasions that young talents can find a future at Säbener Straße.
Of course, not every player scouted will ultimately be signed. Nevertheless, it is part of Bayern’s strategy to identify Europe’s top talents as early as possible and closely monitor their development.
Whether Aron Vucic will actually make his way to Munich remains to be seen. One thing is clear, however: the “Baby Haaland” from Slovenia has caught the attention of some of Europe’s biggest clubs—and FC Bayern is among them.
