The signs between FC Bayern and Alexander Nübel are finally pointing to a parting of the ways, but the planned separation from the national goalkeeper could be much more expensive for the record champions than expected
As reported by BILD, the search for a solution to the Nübel issue is becoming increasingly complicated. The reason: the 29-year-old is said to be unwilling to accept financial losses if he changes clubs
Nübel is still under contract with FC Bayern until 2030 and with an estimated gross annual salary of around eleven million euros, the keeper would theoretically still be entitled to a total of around 44 million euros, according to the report
According to BILD, a high compensation payment could even be necessary to convince him to leave permanently
According to the report, a sum of up to 25 million euros is being discussed
Bayern hopes for Premier League interest

The team at Säbener Straße are therefore apparently focusing on a move abroad – particularly to the Premier League, where clubs have significantly greater financial resources and would be better able to afford the national keeper’s high salary. According to Sky, they are hoping for a transfer fee in the region of 10 to 15 million euros
A further loan remains an option in principle, but in this case Munich apparently want to integrate at least a purchase option, ideally even an obligation to buy
A return to VfB Stuttgart also seems unlikely at present. According to internal sources at the Swabian club, they have already decided on Dennis Seimen as their future number 1. The German U21 international keeper is returning after a successful loan from SC Paderborn and is considered a great hope for the future in Stuttgart
Even financial support from FC Bayern apparently won’t change this plan
Bayern have already informed Nübel
The fact that Nübel no longer has any sporting prospects at the record champions has been made clear several times recently by those responsible. President Herbert Hainer openly stated on the sidelines of the championship celebrations: „At the moment, I do not expect him to return to FC Bayern.“
Director of Sport Max Eberl also indirectly confirmed the imminent departure: „Alex has a contract with us, but the agency has known for a long time what plans we have with Alex,“ said the 52-year-old
With the contract extensions of Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich at the latest, the goalkeeping hierarchy at FC Bayern has finally been established
In addition, Jonas Urbig enjoys great trust internally and is to be developed further in the future.
