The COVID19 pandemic has hit all the clubs in the past 2 and half years including Bayern Munich. But the hard financial times proved why Bayern are capable of managing its finances.

FC Bayern’s annual general meeting is taking place on Saturday. As part of the AGM, the company will also present its final figures for the 2021/22 financial year.

As reported by „BILD“, the German record champions announced a turnover of over 650 million euros. In the previous year, revenue amounted to 643.9 million euros.

The bottom line, i.e. profit after tax, was also up. For the first time since 2019, Bayern will report a profit in the lower double-digit million range, In the previous year, it was just 1.2 million euros.

It’s clear, however, that Bayern will still need a bit to reach their old record numbers. Before the pandemic, 52.5 million euros in profit were generated in the 2018/19 season. Most importantly, Bayern have not had any negative record in profit and is the only Bundesliga club to do so.
