While there hasn’t been any good news about Leon Goretzka and a possible comeback in the past few days, there is now new hope for FC Bayern. The 26-year-old midfielder continues to make progress in his rehab.
Goretzka has resumed running training for a few days and seems to be gradually increasing his rehabilitation program. As „BILD“ reports, the German international trained with the ball for the first time in weeks on Thursday.

Goretzka is making further progress
The midfielder recently complained of knee pain while running in angles. As a video from BILD shows, Goretzka now seems to be able to move sideways again without any major problems. The Bayern star apparently seemed in very good spirit.

But one thing is clear: Even if Goretzka makes further progress, there is still a long way to go before his comeback. Bayern had to do without the midfielder for three months. According to reports, the Bayern bosses do not expect Goretzka to return on the pitch before the beginning of April.
