FC Bayern continues to move forward with its roster planning. Following several new signings, the next departure has now been confirmed: Young prospect Deniz Ofli is heading to Karlsruher SC on loan.
At FC Bayern, this summer’s transfer window isn’t just about incoming players. Following several departures that have already been finalized, Deniz Ofli’s move is imminent.
As reported by Sky, the 19-year-old is joining Karlsruher SC. According to the report, both clubs have agreed to a loan deal running through the summer of 2027. The second-division club will then have an option to buy.
No financial details of the agreement have been disclosed so far.
Bayern secures buyback option
Interestingly, according to Sky, the Munich-based club has secured a buyback option. Several second-division clubs are said to have vied for the Turkish U21 national team player, but in the end, FC Bayern deliberately chose Karlsruher SC.
This gives the club’s management the option to bring Ofli back to Munich if he continues to develop positively.
Kompany thinks highly of Ofli

According to Sky, Ofli continues to be highly regarded within the club. Coach Vincent Kompany regularly had the left back train with the first team last season.
Under the Belgian coach, the 19-year-old also made his debuts in both the Bundesliga and the Champions League.
Ofli joined the Bayern Campus from TSV 1860 Munich in 2019 and has since progressed through all the youth teams up to the first team.
However, with the signing of Nathaniel Brown and competition from Alphonso Davies, the left-back’s chances of playing time in the upcoming season would have been extremely slim. The loan to Karlsruher SC is now intended to allow him to gain regular playing time at a high level and take the next step in his development.
