There could be much more going on at FC Bayern in the summer in terms of departures than new arrivals. While the Munich club only wants to strengthen the squad selectively, numerous players are on the sales list – and could bring the record champions high revenues
According to current planning, a total of up to 140 million euros could be generated through sales
Sporting director Max Eberl in particular is likely to be reliant on this income in order to finance expensive transfer targets such as Anthony Gordon or further reinforcements
Kim and Ito as big sales candidates
The focus is currently on Min-jae Kim and Hiroki Ito
Kim was signed for around €50 million from SSC Napoli in 2023, but was never able to meet the high expectations in Munich on a permanent basis
Nevertheless, FC Bayern is still hoping for a transfer fee of between 25 and 30 million euros, with interest reportedly coming from Turkey and England , among others
Hiroki Ito is also seen internally as a candidate to leave. The Japanese player was only signed from VfB Stuttgart in 2024, but has been repeatedly held back by injuries. Bayern are said to be prepared to let Ito leave for around €20 million
João Palhinha could also leave the record champions after just one year. The Portuguese never really found his feet in Munich and was much more convincing during his loan spell at Tottenham
Spurs apparently have a purchase option worth around 30 million euros, which would allow Bayern to recoup at least part of the 50 million euros they originally invested
Difficult cases with Nübel and Peretz
The situation with Alexander Nübel is more complicated. The goalkeeper apparently earns up to twelve million euros a year in Munich – a salary that hardly any interested party can afford
Even VfB Stuttgart are said to be unable to afford a permanent signing at present, but Bayern are still hoping for a transfer fee of around €15 million
A lot depends on Southampton when it comes to Daniel Peretz. A purchase obligation should actually automatically take effect after promotion to the Premier League. However, the Saints‘ exclusion from the play-offs due to the spying scandal means that the situation is now open
Nevertheless, it is still possible that Southampton will activate the agreed purchase option of eight million euros
Zaragoza and Boey should bring money
Bryan Zaragoza and Sacha Boey are also clearly on the sales list
