FC Bayern have recently been heavily linked with Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani – a rumor that has caused quite a stir
In the „Bayern Insider“ podcast, BILD reporters Tobi Altschäffl and Julian Agardi now clarify how much truth there actually is behind the Asllani rumours. According to them, Asllani has been offered to the record champions. But: There can be no talk of a hot Bayern topic at the moment
In the past few days, pay-TV channel Sky has reported interest from Munich and concrete talks between the club and the player
Altschäffl emphasizes: „Asllani is known, but he is not seen as hot in the management.“ This makes it clear that the rumor has substance, but not the urgency that has recently been circulated
„This is a classic consultant situation“

The 23-year-old from TSG Hoffenheim is regarded as a playful, technically adept attacker who has established himself in the Bundesliga in recent months. His combination of dynamism, robustness and finishing makes him interesting for many top clubs, and he was introduced to the Bayern management via consultancy channels
Agardi explains in the podcast how this contact came about: „It’s a classic situation: consultants call, offer players – and Bayern listens. But they don’t stop listening.“
So Asllani has been placed, Bayern has taken the information on board, but internally there is currently no need to follow up
Why Bayern remain cautious about Asllani
Even though Munich are still looking for a backup striker for Harry Kane who can develop behind the Englishman, Asllani does not appear to play a major role in the plans of Max Eberl and Co
Altschäffl explains the sober attitude at the club: „The Bayern management say: We don’t currently have a hole that Asllani needs to fill.“
Agardi describes him as a „Bundesliga player who has made great progress in recent months“, but at the same time he emphasizes: „This is a player who can hold his own in the Bundesliga – but Bayern level is something else again.“
