Since the German record champions announced that they would be parting ways with Thomas Tuchel at the end of the season, Xabi Alonso was considered the favourite to succeed him. However, the Leverkusen coach has now publicly announced that he will remain with the Werkself. Despite this setback, the Bayern bosses are said to still have one of Leverkusen’s key players on their radar.
Although Xabi Alonso will not be returning to Säbener Straße this summer at least, the Munich club still have Jeremie Frimpong from the Werkself on their radar. As reported by Sky, all top clubs in addition to the German record champions are keeping a close eye on the right-back’s situation. The Dutchman has a release clause of 40 to 45 million euros.
A decision regarding his future can be expected at the end of April. From Frimpong’s point of view, it is unlikely that he will stay at Leverkusen, but Alonso’s extension does not rule him out. Leverkusen’s success at the end of the season could also persuade the Dutchman to stay. Nevertheless, Frimpong will have to weigh up a number of options in the summer.

Whether the German record champions will then be the 23-year-old’s first preference remains to be seen. The right-back commented on Bayern’s interest as follows: „Bayern is a great team, but my focus is on Leverkusen and I’m happy here.“
The 23-year-old has scored 22 goals for Leverkusen this season. Across all competitions, the full-back has scored eleven goals and provided eleven assists. The Dutchman is in absolute top form this season and is helping to ensure that the Werkself have a chance of winning the Champions League and the DFB Cup in addition to the upcoming Bundesliga title.

Bei dem extremen Vorwärtsdrang von Frimpong, ließe sich auch für den völlig unmotivierten Sané eine Lösung auf der rechten Seite finden. Man könnte ihn dann an die Eckfahne stellen, dann bräuchte er sich dann gar nicht mehr bewegen und würde sein Gehalt quasi im stehen verdienen
In der derzeitigen Lage, haben TopSpieler gar keine Lust zu FC Bayern!! Siehe letzte Saison! Baustellen ohne Ende!!

Sei dir bei Frimpong mal nicht so sicher. Das muss taktisch schon passen, sonst hast du Verhältnisse in der Abwehr wie Schweizer Käse. Der turnt ja fast nur vorne herum.
