Despite numerous rumors and speculations, Michael Olise and FC Bayern apparently have a trusting working relationship. Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg commented on the situation surrounding the attacking star and made it clear: The Frenchman’s desire to transfer is not currently an issue.
According to the transfer expert, the way Olise’s agent operates is particularly noteworthy. While information about potential next career moves regularly circulates around high-profile players, very little leaks out from this circle.
According to Plettenberg, Olise and his long-time agent are pursuing a “joint career plan.” Plettenberg notes that the specific steps this plan entails are not known.
Insider marvels at the agent’s discretion
For the Sky reporter, Olise’s agent plays a unique role within the industry. He has never encountered such a reserved agent in his career to date.
“Of course, I won’t reveal any sources, but in all the time I’ve been doing this job, there hasn’t been a single agent who’s been as reserved as Michael Olise’s,” Plettenberg explained.
He then clarified his assessment: “I dare say that there isn’t a single transfer journalist in the world who is in contact with him.”
Plettenberg is thus describing an environment that consistently refrains from providing public insights into future plans. However, this secrecy alone does not indicate either an impending change or a long-term stay.
Olise behaved “absolutely correctly” toward Bayern

Plettenberg was much more specific regarding the relationship with the German record champions. In doing so, he also explicitly referred to information from the club itself. “The relationship with FC Bayern is—as I’ve also heard from FC Bayern—characterized by a great deal of trust,” the transfer expert emphasized.
Plettenberg also gave a clearly positive assessment of Olise’s behavior during the last transfer window, when he was heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid: “Olise behaved absolutely correctly last summer. At no point was there any question of him having expressed a supposed desire to leave FC Bayern.”
For the Munich club, this is an important foundation for their continued collaboration. After all, a career plan doesn’t automatically mean that a departure is in the works. According to Plettenberg, trust and a professional relationship were the main priorities last summer.
Bayern would like to extend his contract early and are prepared to make Olise the record champion’s new top earner in the process. A new five-year contract is on the table with a reported salary of more than 25 million euros.
