With their banner, the fans are specifically questioning the necessity of the share sale. The figures cited are intended to illustrate that FC Bayern is in good financial shape despite high investments.

Fans aren’t keen on the Viesmann deal

Viessmann CEO Max Viessmann recently commented on the rumors as follows: “Out of respect for FC Bayern alone, I will not comment on this.”
„I’m personally a big Bayern Munich fan—that’s true. Since early 2026, I have been a member of the club’s administrative advisory board, which, in addition to soccer, also oversees grassroots sports and advises the executive committee. I’m happy to contribute my perspective as a family business owner there,” Viessmann added.
It remains to be seen whether the sale of the shares to Viessmann will go through. One thing is clear, however: Bayern fans have made their stance on the potential deal abundantly clear with their banner.
